The wood worker just made holes and expects an electrician will come later to put a proper box in it and extend the wires. The picture makes it look like there is a giant gap between the wall and the facade though. But it’s probably not that bad.

Kinda looks like the holes are spaced out too much for a proper electrical box though.

Make things disappear in the wall
