I found this Icelandic lullaby in a book by British author WH Auden. It seems strange and I can’t find it anywhere else. Is it really Icelandic? Or did he make it up? Has it been published anywhere else?

It’s attributed to an 18th century priest called Páll Jónsson who is supposed to have said it to a man who was sleeping through one of his sermons.
