  1. “Their boots might be on my neck. Or their fists to my face. But with our deep light inside, I will fight through this night.” Powerful words. Hoping they get the freedom they deserve.

No protests in west for these women?

Oh right i forgot, Palestinians matter more than other civilians

And it’s only apartheid and occupation when non-muslims do it.

We trained and armed the men when it should have been the women….

Like it or not, Taliban will eventually win. There is no chance for those women.

This is a feel good headline that means little. Where was their defiance in 2021?

Let’s not get too smug, America. Some of you are toying with electing 2 recidivists to the highest 2 offices in the land. Their aim is to reduce women to either porn stars or compliant, submissive broodmares. And one of their techniques is to silence any opposition, through media mostly (so far) with slurs and “sarcasm”.

You don’t need to read Project 2025 to know what their objective is. Watch what they do. Listen to what they say. Their goals are simply Westernized versions of Taliban. Forget A-stan. Pay attention to your own country.

Should have fought with rifles when they had the chance instead.

The Taliban is what would happen if “women ☕️” commenters got together and formed a government

The Taliban seem to be in a purity spiral. They are worried about slipping into complacency. And revolution is easier and more fun than governing. So they constantly need to find new things to be outraged about.

  12. X defies local government hush order. r/worldnews: “How arrogant, X should obey the law!”

Women defy local government hush order. r/worldnews: “Yeah, screw that stupid government!”

Ok? What is the world supposed to do? Colonize and occupy them? The US could have maintained its occupation forever and dragged them into modernity but we have moved on from traditional imperialism so we left. Are we wishing we hadn’t left? Wanting us to go back? The people of Afghanistan got the government they chose (not by voting but by the taliban being the only faction really willing to fight for control, the opposition largely rolled over for them). Who controlled Afghanistan came down to who was willing to fight, the opposition wasn’t.
