  1. But no long ranged strikes deep into Russia allowed.

You need to be very careful to not cross those russian red lines. Am i right?

That’s why the Western countries especially the United States of America needs to continue and double the military donations to Ukraine immediately so that their civilian infrastructure will be protected from the attacks from airstrikes to missiles by the 21st century Nazi regime country called Russia.

  3. Just horrible. In moments like this, I ask why does it matter that Ukraine is not in NATO? They are fighting to join and protect the world we take for granted. They are dying in our place, using our weapons and equipment. We pretend attacks like this are not the same thing as if the missiles hit a hospital on Poland, France or the UK. Yet the reality is that it is an attack on all of us.

They really need the go ahead to use storm shadows to hit the Kremlin’s most valuable military targets. Without that, they will lose this war. Undoubtedly.

    Not a hospital.

It was a communications institute in Poltava.

Two ballistic Iskander missiles killed 41 and injured 150 students and instructors.

Hope that the investigation will find that moron who provided this institution as a target for Russians.

    Слава Україні!

But no, don’t hit Russia’s oil refineries, that would be escalation

  7. The title does not disclose that a poltava Training Center for communication-forces was hit, and a nearby Hospital was damaged:

    from TG (autotranslated)
More than 180 people were injured. 41 people are known to have died, many are still under the rubble
    ▪️Zelensky announced the figures.

▪️Russian Armed Forces struck Poltava with two ballistic missiles, — Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

▪️The time between the alarm and the arrival of the deadly missiles was so short that he caught the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers at the moment of evacuation to a bomb shelter.

▪️One of the institute buildings was partially destroyed, many were under the rubble. It was possible to save 25 people, of whom 11 were freed from under the rubble.

Russia keep showing themself as the primitive terrorist state they really are.

When will our leaders see the same and actually give Ukraine what they need to defend their own citizens? and allow them to stop Russia from keep doing this over and over.

  9. Little_Ad_4202 on

Wow, a military training centre full of soldiers became an educational institution and a hospital.

    Propoganda is real time. Amazing

Can the western world just go mask off already, fuck Russia, fuck Putin, just hate seeing hundreds of Ukrainians die due to fucking politics in the west and countries appeasing Putin.

    Escalation is inevitable!

The west won’t remove restrictions on it’s weapons or supply certain weapons at all because of the fear of escalation. Yet, here we are, Ukraine invaded and took land from Russia and Russia continues to bomb innocent civilians. The escalation is happening in an uncontrolled way. As Ukraine gets more desperate, they will escalate to survive and it’s their right to do so.

Why must the USA wait until an EU member dips it’s little pinky toe in the water, then a few more EU members dipping feet, and then maybe the USA dips further? It’s maddening. We’ve invested billions. Where is the cohesive plan?

  12. JennyAtTheGates on

Title is deliberate keyboard warrior clickbait. Even the Kyiv Independent states it was a strike on a communications school with collateral damage to a nearby hospital. Maybe, having the breadth of evidence how dogshit accurate Russia’s weapons are, don’t train your military at a (per Reuters and others) “military institute” next to a hospital.

A shotgun Google search has this article being the only one that says the strike was the hospital. Some sources downgrade the hospital to a vague “medical facility.”

Don’t fall for misinformation and propaganda no matter who it supports.

  13. phronesis107 on

This article states that “educational facility” and a hospital nearby. Whereas the AP News says “military training facility”.

Either this article makes Russia’s this specific attack targeting civilians or AP News one is somewhat misreporting.

  14. The-Son-Of-Brun on

Allow strikes within deeper Russia using western weapons and watch the Ukrainians NOT target hospitals. Russia’s weakness is palpable and deserves no pity.

  15. Ah yes, misleading title on purpose.
It wasn’t a hospital, it was a military academy that was hit during graduation of cadets.

There are pictures from Ukrainian side with a dozen of dead soldiers in uniforms all over the area.

P.S also some Swedish instructors got killed in process too.

  16. gtfomylawnplease on

This is working as intended. Prolonged war keeps Russia bleeding. That’s a primary reason we’re involved. It’s working.

  17. taskforceslacker on

Ol’ Vlad is just stacking those war crimes. Shame he’ll never answer to The Hague.

  18. Those news man…. you read into title and think of real hospital for kids/elderly/non-combatants.

Then look into news yourself – strike was on territory of military training facility(A3990), which is strictly closed military base without civilians. Already there are floating some article that there may have been Swedish instructors.

Doesn’t mean it less horrifying, but why make shit up like that.

r/worldnews was gloating and cheering about air-striking hospitals a few months ago.
