      Even BRICS describe themselves as an “informal group”. There’s nothing binding with whatever they talk about or supposedly agree on.

      Joining BRICS is like joining a fight club. They are all there to bicker, constantly plot against each other and grab as much territory as possible when the time comes. Considering how Turkey and India don’t look eye to eye, Turkey will fit in splendidly.

      The European Union missed a historic opportunity, they wanted to see a Turkey in favor of the Brics instead of a Turkey in favor of EU, and they will get what they want. Europe could have at least made gestures such as updating the customs union, but it is clear that the Turks now know that membership of the European Union is a dream and so do the Europeans.

      BRICs was invented by Goldman Sachs in 2001.

      It was just a way to make some profits out of emerging economies. To try and turn it into anything more is pointless.

      The members hate most of the other members and the group was invented by the Americans they want to challenge…

      It’d be like if NATO was invented by the soviet union and comprised of USA, Nazi Germany, China and the empire of Japan.
