  1. What I find interesting is they are aiming to vaccinate the entire population under 10 years old, even though only a small fraction are young enough to have potentially missed out on their childhood vaccinations due to the war.

I’m curious how it re-emerged in Gaza after 25 years. Poliovirus can’t survive outside of human hosts for long and there are no animal hosts for it. So I suppose maybe an asymptomatic carrier inadvertently brought it in from the only two countries where it still circulates: Afghanistan and Pakistan.

And the deputy Gaza Health Minister (Hamas) says ” If the international community truly wants this campaign to succeed, it should call for a cease-fire, knowing that this virus does not stop and can reach anywhere,”

That almost sounds like a threat.

They don’t care about our people being hurt by Hamas but they want us to care about their people being hurt by Israel.

I just wonder how the pro-Palestinians would turn this against Israel…

Should be giving it to countries that need it around the world for free; especially when we have so many vaccines going expired. Time to stop trying to make money off everything. But this is some good news.

I see why israelis are genociding palestinian kids, there can’t be sick children if there are no children.
