It’s supposed to be Caspian sea but it’s also a massive bullshit. That and open tone of blue was almost always used in every USSR republic flags. For each flag they made up a new meaning for that color, for Armenia for example since I mentioend it, blue stripe meant “revolutionary struggle of the working masses” , whatever the hell that means.

Eldiguzid/ Atabegs of Azerbaijan flag eagle meaning is also wrong. Dude where did you dig these meanings from?
It’s basically the same eagle depicted on the Seljuk Empire flag, the same meaning of dominion over east and west.
