This is a tragic reminder of the ongoing devastation in Ukraine.

Back in 2022 russians started their attacks on energy infrastructure by launching 50-120 missiles almost every day for several weeks.

In 2023 they were managing a volley of 40-50 missiles once every couple weeks.

Today, after several months of launching nothing but a few drones and a single missile a night, they managed to scrape together ~~60~~ 100 missiles and attack our energy infrastructure again. This is when one of their strategic oil storage facilities is still on fire after a week of continuous burning and their airfields being targeted almost every day leading to secondary detonations lasting several hours.

Coincidentally, just two days ago Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine now has domestic-made long-range missiles. Oh and for a few months now Ukraine’s been bombing russia with more long-range suicide drones than russia was bombing Ukraine with.

As you can guess, russian energy infrastructure is not as well defended as Ukraine’s because so far Ukraine had more important targets to hit. This is about to change. You fuckers sowed the wind and will reap the whirlwind. We already survived a winter with constant power outages, let’s see how you fair.

To be fair, it can’t really be THAT massive if they only managed to launch 60 rockets and kill three people.

For those of us from the USA that support Ukraine’s right to exist and repel the invaders I say get out and vote for it.

The race is still to close in many battleground states. We wont go back. Let’s all get out and vote. Turn out will be key. Let’s set a record for turnout in America. Then let’s all keep voting. Remember Kamala Harris will need congress to get things done and any increased support we can give her from state and local races will help. Have a plan to vote. Know where you go to vote. Check that you are registered. Vote early if you can. If you expect long lines bring plenty of water and an umbrella that can both keep you dry and in the shade. If you are voting by mail read the instructions carefully and mail them as early as posable. Pay attention to any opportunities to affect down ballot elections. From the school boards to the White house every election matters.

Remember democracy is not one and done. Keep voting in all elections and primaries every year. off year elections and midterm elections are a good chance to make gains in locally and state elections as turnout is low. We vote out republicans and primary out uncooperative democrats.
