      For all these reasons I am so proud of Georgia for this number of medals! Just push GD out in October and don’t let these medals and the football victory be a happy distraction. ❤️

      So happy for Georgia! Imagine if other three finalists, who got silver, also won gold, it would have placed Georgia in the top 15!

      I don’t know if it would count but smaller Warsaw Pact countries which had a fierce rivalry with Russia in sport are similar

      Olympic game performance does not have any relation to the country’s prosperity. For many Western countries, they are just not important because it is not about quality of life.
