      These images are edged in my brain like it was yesterday. I was in elementary and we were all watching tv and the news etc. It happened in front of our eyes.

      Here’s a BIG fuck you to Erhan Arıklı, the Transportation “Minister” of the north who is wanted by the Interpol and recorded as one of the people identified in those photographs. He openly and graphically expressed his wishes to torture people who didn’t agree with Turkish nationalism (old newspaper column, named sth like “Türkelinden”). He was found leading at least one rally of fascists that beat up a journalist. This Arıklı fucker is living his life so fucking happily with the blood on his hands. I’ll throw a party on the day he dies. Gonna be Kissinger’s death day v.2 for me.

      I know posting this might have a point in terms of remembrance, but this does nothing but strengthen negative feelings between two Cypriot communities, which are very sensitive and can get sparkled from any small thing. So I think we should focus on our islands future,and stop bringing the past into discussion.
