      Ifhem i think Australia has more Maltese representation in population than us too 😂

      These people probably dont even know malta exists let alone be considered as reps of Malta.

      Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Australia has largest Maltese diaspora… including Malta.

      Australia probably pays their athletes to train and has facilities for them. I worked with a Maltese Olympian and yeah its not fair she got to work full time and then train to represent Malta at many games (ofc she didnt get medals, but not for lack of talent).

      Second gen Maltese, born in Australia here. Can confirm we’re very proud and loud when it comes to our Maltese ties. If only it weren’t so far to visit!

      They are Australian. Seeing a surname means nothing. Even less since country went for same ..
