      Sadly it’s not only tourists, but locals too. I regularly walk my dogs early morning and we have done mini beach cleanups for years now in Sliema. Last time I asked a lady with her child nicely to pick her trash up I was told to go back to my own country and foxx il liba madonna man!

      My husband clocked a couple down there letting their kid take a s**t in the bushes. Told them off but honestly, what is going on?!

      I also don’t think it’s just tourists. Sliema in general is very dirty and messy and has been from a while. If people who live here can’t keep it nice, no one else is going to. It’s very sad.

      I’ve seen the street cleaners who pushed all the garbage with water hose directly to the sea in Buggiba. People in general are idiots.

      I was there for two weeks and didn’t litter a thing. I noticed alot of trash at the beaches though, I just assumed was the locals (same as where I live).

      Definitely not just tourists. During covid I had to pick up trash all over the shop. Amount of cigarette butts everywhere. Can’t blame tourists when the airports are closed
