Kann mir eventuell jemand weiterhelfen und Auskunft zu diesen Bildern und diesem Wehrdienstzeugnis meines Urgroßvaters geben?

Soweit ich es dem Dokument entnehmen kann, diente er im 88. Infanterieregiment und im Kavallerieregiment Alessandria. Auf dem Gruppenfoto sieht es so aus, als hätte er Zeit in den Arditi verbracht.

Es handelt sich offensichtlich um ein Duplikat und das Dokument ist nicht vollständig ausgefüllt, so dass vieles über seinen Dienst unbekannt bleibt.

Ich habe diese Gegenstände erst vor Kurzem entdeckt und bis dahin dachte ich, ich sei das einzige Mitglied meiner Familie, das beim Militär dient. Ich möchte unbedingt mehr darüber wissen.

Kann jemand helfen, ein klareres Bild zu zeichnen?

  1. He was a barber who knew how to read and write. The first document, a notice of him leaving the army, states that it is a duplicate since the original from 21 October 1921 was lost. Presumably 21 October 1921 is when he was discharged and he was called to serve on 22 May 1918, near the end of WW1, technically just before he turned 18. There isn’t much else on the paper, and I can’t do anything with the photos.
