    > As a part of the agreement, the parties will study the feasibility of connecting energy systems by laying a high-voltage submarine cable across the Caspian Sea. According to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, this agreement will allow the countries to interact in the production of green energy and organize its export through Azerbaijan to Europe.

    LOL, sure.

To produce green energy to even sustain your own energy needs (I am not even talking about exporting the excess), a country needs to invest billions into building the infrastructure (solar, wind, geo + upgrade the grid).

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan – a trio of “most democratic and least corrupt” countries will “invest” billions into green energy.

I will believe it when I see it.

    EDIT:
Keep downvoting me, but what you don’t know is that it is not the first “investment” like that. There were investments into green energy in Azerbaijan. There were even solan panel fields built. Do you know what happened to them? They have been just lying there under a thick layer of dust for YEARS now.
Also, you can invest billions into economy, but as long there is corruption, uneducated government and unregulated monopolies it will never work.
