I’m still really irritated that it got to the level it did. The police sitting on their hands while people were allowed to disturb the peace for weeks on end. Only one cop losing their job for that is the real crime.

  2. I still can’t believe that the Maverick Party of Alberta, who started the whole thing and sat on the money for these poor truckers, has had zero repercussions.

But I guess when you’re cozy with Smith, you get away with this stuff.

Domestic Terrorist and Insurrectionist Pat King due to be sentenced today.

  4. Watch carefully Canada… the way that our government treat these peaceful protesters is very important. Whether you agreed with the goals of the convoy or not, you can agree now in hindsight that lockdowns didn’t work, and weren’t necessary.

The protesters should not be punished by the government. If we allow the government to punish them then we’re allowing the government to punish any of us who have reason to protest the government in the future.

I stand with Pat King and the convoy organizers. I contributed money to the convoy and watched my government threaten to freeze the assets of donors.

Trudeau and Freeland should be facing criminal charges, not Pat King.

  5. Don’t just throw the book, drop the whole shelf on this loser.

    Title already updated:

“Sentencing delayed for Freedom Convoy organizer Pat King”

He isn’t getting sentenced today. Judge is just taking sentencing submissions

Look, I’m an Albertan and was upset with where the Freedom Convoy situation escalated to. While I don’t agree with everything they did, I did not feel the use of the Emergencies Act was justified along with a complete freezing of assets.

I also get that they infringed on other people’s rights by disturbing residents. We should not take our liberties for granted here in Canada, protest is an incredibly important thing for a democratic society. I definitely agree that there is blame for how it was handled on both sides.

You can only protest during COVID if you have the approved government reasons. Throw the book at him

  9. You can’t fuck around and fail to act like all levels of government did with the convoy and as they are still doing with habitual criminals and the homeless.
If you let the law breakers call the tune, chaos ensues. The convoy was a disgrace—both on the part of those who broke the law and those who let them do it. We see the same now with street crime and encampments.
Where is the swift and decisive action to protect honest tax paying citizens and businesses?
BTW Pat King should get the fucking book thrown at him instead of what he’s going to get from the failing Canadian justice system.

Remember when the Feds overreacted so people like pat king overreacted. Then the Feds had to overreact to the overreaction. Good times.

The domestic terrorist piece of shit deserves to rot for life but will probably just get a slap on the wrist.

Fuck him and fuck you if you still think his racist, hateful garbage is peaceful. Man grifted you hard and you are either stupid or just as shitty if you can’t see that now.
