      Just come to Warwickshire and witness the destruction brought by HS2. Bunch of Nature Criminals. For a 15 mins quicker journey London-Birmingham. The people authorised this should be quartered and skinned with body parts scattered in the four corners of the empire.

      It’s difficult because most land is owned by rich people or farmers. The government can only really give grants to farmers to farm more sustainably, or ban pesticides. They don’t seem inclined to do that effectively.

      There will be increased biodiversity land set aside in some areas soon, with the offset targets new house building. Though that scheme seems like a cash grab to me let’s see how it pans out.
