Hallo zusammen. Dieses Spiel wird voraussichtlich im Nationalstadion in Warschau stattfinden. Jedoch: https://futbolnews.pl/newsroom/146435,reprezentacja-polski-stadion-narodowy

Meine Frage sollte also lauten: Ist Chorzow sicher?

So is Poland still safe? Thinking about going to Poland – Lithuania football match in Chorzow

in what way do you ask is it safe? im unsure what do you expect to be unsafe?

public transport look up yourself on [jakdojade.pl](https://jakdojade.pl/chorzow) you can put in where you want to go and select the hour, it uses the official public transport timetables

I’m Portuguese but work with a Polish company so follow this sub out of curiosity … but can’t understand the “Is Poland safe?” posts lol I’ve only visited once and a short stay but found it perfectly fine. Why this question keeps popping up?

  3. It’s perfectly sejf until 18:13, then everyone turns into werewolves and no long sejf. Buy Polski werewolf spray and always have on you.

You should avoid some places after dark especially if you are football fan plus car driving culture in Poland is very low and it is very dangerous compared to other countries.

  5. 98% White country so yeah its pretty safe. Also they don’t allow mass Muslim immigration either

Unless you have some reservations against eating coal (its Silesia, duh) you should be fine

  7. Sorry, I’ll add one adjustment. Last time I visited Lithuania – Poland FRIENDLY football match in Kaunas in 2011 Polish kibicy were going nuts and tried to fight with security, with police and with each other. Of course Lithuania was not so safe at that time, but I’m still a bit interested in the situation around football scene in Chorzow.

  8. Yeah it’s safe.

And pro-tip: Book a hotel as near Katowicka Street in Chorzów as you can. During events at the stadium, the main road is either closed, or jammed beyond belief. But there’s a tram going through Katowicka which will transport you right next to the stadium.
