Common complaints if you want to do something similar have been not explaining that it was only the residential area (the full fires are approximately 10x, but the area is wilderness) and picking the wrong corresponding residential areas in Seattle. Oh, and some people complained that Seattle isn’t as dry as Seattle and wouldn’t catch on fire…

I mirrored the [NY Times fire map](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/01/08/weather/los-angeles-fire-maps-california.html) on google maps to get the residential areas of the two fires. Then I overlaid a similar area on Seattle.
