      The Tories operate these days on the basest politics of deceit and outrage. They used to be the nasty party in the sense of merely having policies that were not good for society’s poorest or most vulnerable.

      Now they’re the nasty party in the sense of literally sitting in a room and going hmm, what if we capitalise on the criminal sexual abuse of children, to introduce an amendment that we don’t want, to establish an inquiry we don’t want and didn’t make any call for the entire time we were in government, because then we can say Labour don’t care about child sex abuse victims and a lot of people will fall for it.

      The saddest part of all this, while the subject is being used as a political football, kids in every street in the land are still being abused.

      Anyone who works with kids knows the levels of child abuse is truly sickening. But we don’t actually care about child abuse, we care about using everything as political leverage and it’s only getting worse.

      Stop reporting facts, aren’t we meant to accuse starmer and Phillips of a cover up for not having a new inquiry and forget the last 15 years including an inquiry? You can make anyone look bad by showing all the stuff they did or didn’t do etc 😉
