700 is literally 3 years after the Arab conquest of Carthage. Subjugating and converting the Berbers all the way to the Atlantic Ocean too a while. I doubt there was any, let alone significant Muslim presence at the time.

This feels like a case of fuzzy lines to make information seem more legit than it is

“Other” is so incredibly lazy when it comes to African religions its borderline racist.

Ngl U thought there would be way more Cristianity in the second map, because of colonialism

What is even the purpose of this map if most of the religions are put under a “miscellaneous” umbrella? You might as well just title it Christianity vs Islam

    6. Unfortunately a really crap map
Why dont people do a minimum amount of research before posting?
According to [wiki pee](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Africa) (for what its worth)
      – christians: 49.3% of african pop (2020 est.)
      – islam: 41.5%

Would be great to see that distribution across the continent, but this is map crap is clapped
