Die USA sagen, die sudanesische RSF habe Völkermord begangen und verhängen Sanktionen gegen ihren Anführer

Submission statement:

The United States government has announced that they have determined that the ethnic massacres and widespread rape committed by the Rapid Support Forces during the ongoing Civil War in Sudan amount to genocide. Based on this determination the US has levied sanctions on the RSF’s leader, Hemedti, as well as UAE companies that are involved with arming the RSF.

Interestingly the US, while condemning this genocide, has not claimed that they are siding with the Sudanese government and continue to asses that neither side of this war is a realistic representation of the Sudanese people.
