      There’s probably an interesting story here, but why did the OP not at least give a little context, for those of us who don’t know a whole lot about Australia’s history?

      Central Australia had like 5 people, all of whom lived in Alice Springs.

      all i know is that northern territory was at some point part of the state of south australia?

      It’s such a great help in dating maps and globes…at least those made between 1927-31.
