      I really appreciate India’s approach. To truly just leave them alone would be catastrophic as predatory greedy assholes would descend on island to strip it of natural and human resources. Which is why India secretly put a marker claiming it up and patrols off shore to keep people away for their own safety and the safety of inhabitants. This is the best that can be done in modern world.

      If anyone even made successful contact with these people, they would die off very quickly as their bodies have never seen the microorganisms that we carry. Leave them be.

      What a beautiful island, incredible to think about the life they live. A literal and metaphorical island operating under a completely different way of life.

      It’s crazy to think about the fact that 500 people are hidden in the forest somewhere in this picture living out lives that are the complete opposite of how most people are living.

      And in many ways is humans, ideal, living conditions

      It’s absolutely mind blowing anyway that this tiny piece of paradise/garden of Eden/primitive way of life is happening protected in the 21st-century

      It makes you think about what could happen if society collapses what could have happened if more people were or had been allowed to continue to live in this way and perhaps how we should all be living

      TBH it seems very cozy. Just the right size to sustain you and your tribal buddies. I would defend it to the death too.
