„Fataler Fehler“: Demokraten geben dem Justizministerium die Schuld, da Trump sich der Verantwortung für den 6. Januar entzieht – „Merrick Garland hat ein Jahr verschwendet“, sagte der Abgeordnete Jerrold Nadler vor dem vierten Jahrestag des Aufstands im Kapitol 2021.

Republicans abused democrats restraint, and took it for what it was, utter weakness – sort of like how Russia walks over Europe – where Europe practices “restraint” but Russia shows it for what it is, weakness. Don’t be weak when democracy is on the line.

This is infuriating How can Garland justify waiting so long? Trump should have faced consequences by now😡

When a rich person can delay justice for four-plus years, we know the system is broken.

I think a lot of this is the glibness and shortsightedness of the DNC. I really think that they thought that they could just say things that appeased the woke crowd and totally ignore real issues of wealth inequality, inflation and corporate greed and that Joe Biden would win again, therefore prosecuting Trump wouldn’t be necessary.

The warning signs were flashing two years ago but they decided to do nothing about it.

Shoutout to all the shitheads who kept saying “just be patient; the wheels of justice move slowly.”

to us peasants this may look like a mistake.

to the statesman class however this looks like class solidarity.

  7. I don’t think he sees it as wasted; he probably got the exact outcome he wanted.

  8. Here is a thought: Democrats don’t actually want to win. It’s just a self licking ice cream cone.

Donald Trump’s and his goons tried to stop an election and got away with it. Now we’ve re-elected this guy. Clown nation.

Democrats are idiots. They are playing a gentleman’s game, while the Reps are far more ruthless.

They only have themselves to blame.

Garland and Biden will likely be remembered as people who were evil through inaction. They have (grossly, and negligently) underestimated the threat, and did not defend democracy.

He ran on bringing the country together
But one side hires a rapist to watch their kids

It wasn’t a mistake. Not pushing hard to prosecute was a conscious choice. They decided that prosecuting an attempted coup wasn’t important enough, because the turmoil could have a negative effect on donor profits. America is Broken.

  15. 4 years too late. Would have been great if you did something about it beforehand, but now here we are. Bitch and moan all you want, you let this shit happen and the people have voted.

Teflon Don sends his goons to attempt a coup and gets away with it in ‘merica. But don’t buy up all the toilet paper at the CVS and sell it from your garage, the feds will be there within the week.

Garland was always a terrible choice. Obama only picked him for SC because he thought he was the most conservative pick he could get Dems to support without pissing off Rep. Biden only picked him for AG because talking heads on TV thought it Wouk be funny to troll Mitch McConnell and senate republicans

    The cost was democracy

Garland was a known commodity. The buck stops at the top.

Agent Smith was ready to go, but wasn’t deployed until 75% of the way in.

  19. What exactly did the Democrats expect after appointing a Republican as Attorney General??? Like, seriously…

As much information as was out there about Jan. 6, it didn’t change a lot of voters minds. I don’t disagree that Garland was too cautious and not a good choice for AG.

  21. Garland like all their members answers to the Federalist Society and no one else.
