Yeah a lot of the world is in a bad place rn and its going to continue to get worse. Now is the time to be putting in place proper infrastructure and systems so we can take care all these people and of any surges like this in the future. But the government probably won’t be doing that, cause that makes sense long term

“Detective Chief Superintendent Aidan Minnock also rejected claims, most notably by the far right, that asylum seekers are criminals who pose a threat to public safety.
He said the vast majority are economic migrants seeking a better life and that the few who have criminal records are detained before being removed from the country.”

Systematically making Irish people poorer, while the wealthy get richer off the back of mass immigration.
But you’re a bigot if you disagree with it apparently.

They literally came out and said there were huge numbers of economic migrants coming into the country each and every one should be returned to sender.

Record low voter turnout. And voters for voted for more of the same. The Irish people voted for this shite. Absolute charlatans making a mockery of the system

# Forget politically correct BS, we have good reasons to be resentful of immigrants at this stage.
There’s figures showing how a small minority only ever return from Ireland. A very small number compared to other countries.
I have some good friends who immigrated. I’m happy for one lady and the hard work she has put in working for 4-5 employers a week. She works 70+ hrs a week tbf to her on starting this new life.
But at the same time, has been put up in a hotel for years and now is moving into a house.
Her husband doesn’t do any work however, who I despise with a passion. Like thought mixing primer and paint together in one bucket would save him time in painting the shed. And how wood is too difficult task for him to sand.
Somehow he drives a Mercedes – don’t ask me how.
And that’s one hard working woman who has had some major support. There’s a lot who don’t need to work that hard and can keep reaping the benefits to no end.

The establishment in this country are making obscene amounts of money by making backhand deals to turn hotels and other premises into ipas centres. We were told a year ago there’d be gov ran centres but that was just to take the heat out of the situation. The gravy train will keep going no matter how much damage it does to social cohesion along the way
