    1. turns out if people who actually work for a living see their material conditions worsen appreciably they will probably get mad at the people they think run the country telling them it’s all vibes and besides, you can’t actually do anything about it, does not engender support.

      In seat projections as a proportion of the House of Commons (there’s more seats now than 2011), they’ve been lower than Ignatieff for several months.

      Ahem, “exceeding” the party’s worst defeat. If they get 16% on election day, they could genuinely do worse than 36 seats. Losing official party status isn’t even off the table anymore.

    4. Poilievre though… Canada is in a very sad state right now. French-Saskatchewanians are a dime a dozen, so I should be happy for him I guess…
