      You see, I started feeling bad about the soldiers but then it got to “i killed someone” and all of it went out the door. You enlisted, went to somebody else’s country to invade and killed them, zero sympathy.

      Guys you’re allowed to feel kinda bad for the 19 something year old who doesn’t know any better/ wasn’t given a choice. As strong as emotions run in war, the other side is still human.

      This sounds awfully like any rough neighborhood infested with gangs. Teenagers who commit crimes to earn money live a lavish lifestyle because “tomorrow isn’t promised.”

      This is a whole other level of despair. If you have a family to live for and know you are a dead man, that’s just brutal. And they still don’t turn the gun against their commanders. Incredibly stupid.
