      100%. Instead of this anti data center nonsense we need to embrace it. The UK promised big tech it would put their data centres on the same national priority list as power generation and critical infrastructure to get them over. We need to watch our back.

      We’re like the rich kids living off our parents money from years ago. We need to keep our head in the game.

      Yeah we need to do something. Tech is rationalising the amount of people it needs. Pharma is changing and the amount of new manufacturing seems to be slowing. If those two get in any significant way it will be like a super version of the 80s.

      Trump is essentially economically paralysed to be sending out threats of tariffs and trade wars. They’d completely crash the world economy. He’s going to war with the fed, threatening to take Greenland and the Panama Canal and wants to annex Canada. Meanwhile his dogs Vivek and Elon want to expand H1B visas to Indians to exploit them for cheap labour. The best we can do is be friendly and leave them at it. Stay friendly of course but realistically the US doesn’t really want anything to do with us or Europe .

      Oops, I understand Trump has suggested that it’s vital that the US take control of the whole Island of Ireland with 48 hours of him taking over the Presidency. Insiders suggest he’ll do it to punish and ridicule Biden. Trump is of the opinion that there’s room for new world class course and he wants to ensure it’s properly situated.

      I think we are wildly underestimating how much chaos Trump, and more so his hangers on, might cause. I think we are potentially looking at a massive global recession.

      These guys are going to approach the economy like a moron with a screwdriver jamming into the back of the TV to ‘fix’ it.
