      Man the Russians are getting shredded these day. Ukrainians fill the 3d printed shells with sheet metal screws. Tears them to pieces. But there’s millions more men to send it seems, and the eventual victory by meat wave by the russians pushes onward. 1 million killed and injured is coming, then 2?

      Ukrainians need a step up in lethality to counter this, it’s a battle of numbers.

      I am absolutely for Ukrainian victory: 100% of their pre-2014 territory back under their control.

      Just speaking generally, the way Putin’s military treats their soldiers is disgusting. This is good for Ukraine; but if ANY country is going to send people in harm’s way, there should be a minimum of support for those troops.

      I’d imagine it’s an agreement (formal or implied): You serve the country’s military; the country’s military will provide: Resupply (food, potable water, ammunition, etc….), immediate medical care (medics/corpsmen), transportation of wounded to an Aid Station for stabilization, then to a hospital for further care, other post-service (veteran) benefits. Of course, there will be times when resupply or transport is delayed, but knowing your country is going to support you to the best of its ability goes a long way towards boosting morale.

      Thankfully, these **very basic** services are not being met by the Russian military. At *some* level, Russian soldiers will help a wounded comrade and receive a percentage of basic services. At another level (like the front lines), Russian soldiers cannot expect their comrades to help them. Their comrades are more likely to strip a wounded soldier of anything of value/use while they’re still alive, but on their way out.

      P.S. Hoping that post-Putin, Russia finds an incorruptible way to avoid giving one person unlimited power; and that Russia finds a way to become a member of rational states which is a benefit to human society, not a detriment.

      **TLDR: Putin’s Russia sucks**

      I do wonder what showing these videos on Russian TV would do? Would they rebel against it or be matter of fact? Easy to just see these as soldiers of an evil empire, but they are all sons, brothers and so on also.

      I can’t tell if he’s trying to wake his buddy up or just hallucinating at his final moments. And honestly I hope for the second cause at least he isn’t conscious in his final moments.
