      I would bet a tenner, on 2 options. Eventually Lavrov will make a statement that directly blames UA/NATO that a “western made” missile somehow yeeted 1300km’s into the plane and it’s tragic blah blah blah. OR, Russia will keep quiet, not say a goddamn thing and cover it all up.

      Despite the glaring evidence, Russia will continue to deflect and deny, making up all sorts of bogus scenarios. I don’t know what Russia’s relationship with Azerbaijan is, probably not favorable considering they were aiding Armenia. That’s another rabbit hole.

      Well this is how Ukraine’s war started. I hope Azerbaijan is building up defenses by now, before russia suddenly decides there’s a huge russian population that claims to be oppressed and wants to be absorbed.

      That would be an interesting distraction if they were to open a new front over there

      countries which fly to Russia should either cut air links with Russia or demand the BBC (RF air force, not the channel) provide escourt flights for their commerical airliners.

      An apology..that is within the putler doctrine a weakness….no they will get a lie or at least an excuse….lets see:

      – if Ukraine did not resist against the 5 day special military peace operation it would not have happened
      – if Ukraine did not use any drones we would not have shot down your airplane.
      – there were no orc (russian) AA units in the vicinity
      – it was shot down by Ukrainian special forces in the vicinity of the orc AA units to make it look like it was an orc (russian) attack.

      Russia will admit shooting down the plane by mistake but will blame Ukraine for attacking Russian territory with drones. ICAO and Western Countries will send strongly worded letters.The End

      Quite possible. Though, I would be conservative on statements that “this is it”, because it’s not relevant at this point what vehicle exactly was responsible (as it’s already pretty sure it was a Russian one) and atm it’s simply not known.
      Given various troop movements and incomplete knowledge on what’s present in the region, it’s also not *that* easy.

      But time and further photos will likely determine what vehicle it was, maybe it was this particular one.
