  1. From googling the most visible logo I could see: «Larsen&Lutken Klædehandel was located in Torvgaten 1, Oslo»

I think this is the intersection between Grensen and Torggata, at Stortorget. Looking west up Grensen.

Edit: In Oslo! Looking again I think I was wrong, Still looks like somewhere on Stortorget though.

The man with the hat to the right is in front of Kirkeristen 6, Oslo. The façade looks the same today (different businesses, though).

  4. ‘Lenin is dead’ wouldn’t be my first guess to see on a 1th of May banner.

  5. I would guess the picture was taken at Stortorvet in Oslo (Christiania)
You can see Larsen & lütken to the right which was located at Stortorvet 13 and at the back og the picture, you can see Caf’è Gimle, which was located at Stortorvet 12, according to [digitalmuseum.no](https://digitaltmuseum.no/011014571030/cafe-gimle)
