      They want to get their authoritarian hooks in pro democracy activists. Shocker. 

      They could at least make up better charges to hide their true colours.

      One of them lives around Markham so deputy mayor Michael Chan is allegedly looking into it for the Chinese police in Markham

      If you have a warrant from the Chinese police, not only should you not go to China, you should not go to most southeast Asian countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, etc…), but you can probably go to Singapore.

      Why? Look at how Gui Minhai (a Chinese person born in China, got Hong Kong permanent residency, moved to Sweden and got Swedish citizenship) and how he got kidnapped by the Chinese government while in Thailand and is now in prison for political crimes.
