Has anyone done a correlation of cameras to the unsolved crime rate?

Because if there’s no correlation, what are they there for?

So private property owners can’t be sued?

What other reasons would justify installing CCTV if it’s not for the apprehension of criminals?

I assume if I am outside my home, I’m on camera

Think the map would be better if it differentiated between private and government owned/operated cameras.

Delhi is most unsafe city on the country for both men and women.

So not surprised.

But all these camera still didn’t bring crime rate down.

I never expected that India would have more cameras than us Koreans

It would be nice to see what types of cameras these are. For instance, are these government installed ones or private ones? Does this include red light cameras or an overpass camera for the public to check road conditions?
