  1. The one that hit, wasn’t that a hyper sonic one? Genuinely curious. It’s crazy how it goes from a dot in the sky to almost a bullet fast in micro seconds…

    Watching this back multiple times, it looks like the 2 iron dome missiles launched were both targeting the ballistic missile that ended up making its way through.

    Both Iron Dome missiles seemed to converge and detonated right on the ballistic missile’s path but may have not timed their detonation effectively.

    Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the Iron Dome missiles detonate within proximity and use shrapnel to disable their target, rather than kinetic missiles which essentially will ‘headbutt’ or make direct contact with its target.

    At the speed & force that ballistic missile comes down with, anything in its way also ends up becoming part of the payload.

    Seeing those interceptors speed compard to the incoming is wild! Really happy injuries were minor and no lives were lost. Maybe engineers and designers can find even better ways to intercept these missiles now that we seem to see them more often.
