>COUNCILLORS have raised concerns after a female colleague was shouted at and heckled during a discussion on violence against women in a council meeting.
>At the last Bradford Council meeting of the year earlier this month, the leading Labour group tabled a motion calling for more to be done to tackle the huge problem of violence against women and domestic abuse.
>When Councillor Falak Ahmed (Cons, Bingley Rural) spoke on the issue, she discussed grooming carried out by some men who share her Pakistani heritage.
>Her comments led to several councillors shouting out at her across the chamber, and demanding she apologise for singling out one particular community for criticism.
>During the shouting, one voice was heard saying Cllr Ahmed should “shut up.”
The Bradford council. Nothing more

She recognises an issue within her community, voices that concern and is blasted for doing so.
This is how the grooming gangs in Bradford, Leeds etc have been able to get away with their disgusting behaviour for so long. People are afraid to speak the truth for fear of being called racist or in this instance being ostracised by her own colleagues.

Quelle surprise. Right after the uproar about stopping cousin marriage, now it’s heckling women to stop them speaking about grooming gangs.

Is this the wonderful culture we import in to make our country better?

Can’t be having a woman pointing out the noncy behaviour of certain communities in Bradford, probably some relatives of those councillors shouting it down.
