      Exchange? So what’s the Scottish influence in Denmark & beyond?

      I’m confused… The terminology seems a bit muddled here. Is it even possible to differentiate between “Norse”(which I assume stands for Norwegian only, here) and “Danish” influenced geographic names?

      Then what is “Scandinavian character”? Surely both of the above categories would be “Scandinavian”. A mix of both Danish and Norwegian? A later wave of raiders or traders?
