      With all the success Jake Kasden has had in the past with movies and tv shows, trying to deride him as a nepo baby is just disingenuous rage bait. Kasden probably has a hand in at least one of your favorite comedies. .

      The Watchers was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I only sat through it because I was fighting with my boyfriend and I didn’t want to go home!

      Red One is worth a watch if you’re someone who enjoys holiday movies. I was pleasantly surprised.

      When a kid doesn’t have to worry about grinding daily to support themselves and can play online video games all day , their skill level often grows far beyond that of a regular joe who tries to play games after work . That’s the type of skill level gap I would expect to see from nepo baby directors and actors .We’re just not seeing that .

      Yes, all the flops, all the successes, and everything else in between, because almost no one working at that level in the industry doesn’t come from either old money or family in the industry. Directing is a very small club that is very expensive to learn and make a name for yourself in. This isn’t news, when are we going to get over this?

      I liked Lisa Frankenstein and The Watchers (the transition from act 2 to act 3 dragged but we got there in the end) for the most part. I get it’s a numbers based thing but I think LF especially will get cult classic status.
