This is awesome if this is really real. The remastering was good too. It looks almost new. That nazi with the flamethrower, looks just tweaked out of his mind as he smiles and lights the house on fire

But i thought the wehrmacht was clean and did no wrong. The former officers who were allowed to write its history in the 50’s and 60’s without scrutiny or pushback said so… /s

Why would they burn villages in 1941? Who destroys housing whilst on the advance. You do it if you are in retreat

Man the implementation of AI has really fucked my brain up when it comes to questioning if a ww2 film is real or not

Crazy to think about the fact they did this in almost every Belarussian Village

I’ve never seen anything remotely like this. Where is this from? What village? What kind of soldiers are they? I honestly can’t tell if this is real or not. I have so many questions.

The tragedy is that it was pointless – they didn’t have to do any of that. They did it because they were racist towards slavic people.

0:14 he pulled the pin on the bomb while holding it in his armpit before he even had cleared an opening in the window

Pretty sure thats what happened to both my grandparents homes in Poland.

God knows what happened to their families, as they survived the war themselves.

And then the Russians… Just as bad my grandmother mentioned while she was alive.

The weird V insignia on the one soldier (not familiar with this rank in the german army) was odd enough, but the hand vanishing and reappearing before the bomb was the sus on the cake.

  13. This looks extremely similar to the film Come And See, which I believe is supposed to take place in WWII Belarus.

  14. My grand father in law told me when he was a boy they watched from the woods as the Nazis burned down homes filled with civilians
