    In Brief:

    * Chad Collins, an Ontario member of parliament, said that around 50 elected Liberals — perhaps more — are part of a growing group that wants the prime minister’s resignation.
    * Other Liberals in the anti-Trudeau camp have given similar numbers. That would be about a third of the 153-person Liberal contingent in the House of Commons.

It’s a shame the liberal party was too incompetent to adopt measures that would allow them to boot their leader. They made their bed now they have to sleep in it.

  3. Reminder to MP’s that they have a vote in the House of Commons. Use it or shut up.

Since Singh has no spine, these MPs could just vote against their own party in a confidence motion, could they not?

If they want him gone, vote against him with the CPC and Bloc. Otherwise, quit claiming you want something and doing the opposite.

I know! I’ll shuffle the cabinet and it’ll all be sunny ways again!

it’s the only way to save the libs
trudeau dumps cabinet ministers, libs should be able to dump him
    sophie did it
    canada needs to as well

  8. That headline gives the impression Trudeau is the Liberals’ unwanted pet they’re going to drive out to the country and abandon….

At this point if I was a Liberal and wanted to have a slight chance at keeping my MP job I’d cross the floor and just jump to the Cons. They’re going to win a supermajority anyway.

it’s not a trudeau problem, it’s a liberal party problem and they’re in for a rude awakening when they dump him and still poll the exact same

Modify your party statutes you cretins and/or vote to oust him when the next vote comes.

Otherwise, you are as useless as singh. Only bullshit talk and no action.

I’ve voted liberal my entire life and I can promise you next election I’ll be voting for a different party. Even I want Trudeau to resign.

$20 billion over, are you kidding me. Get the hell out of office.

I don’t see how it matters. Every option is bad. There isn’t a single mid option to vote for. I don’t support Trudeau at all. But I don’t support Singh or PP either. I could see this being good if there was some route to success but there simply isn’t. It’s also sadly amusing that after the three ‘credible’ party options the next in lines definition of success is ripping the country apart.

The American government is about to transition into a possibly and probably hostile administration. Throwing our country deeper into chaos at this exact moment isn’t the right call. I don’t believe in tribal politics, but was raised very conservative. Now I only wish there was an option that was socially liberal but fiscally conservative. We see those things as oppositional. I see them as counterweights. Balance is in the middle.

We are seeing the slow deaththrows of democracy at the hands of unchecked lust for endless power and growth. We are seeing what happens after they’ve shaved away all of the fat and we are wondering why there is not more milk in the emaciated cow.

Or rather seeing that behind the curtain we have no real power. This is happening across the world. This frustration and anger is driving society into a conservative flip because they are embracing societies rage. People don’t realize that both sides have picked your pockets clean.

I think we should be standing fast until February. Removing Trudeau now isn’t a magic save the country button. I want to see how the major leaders here respond and adapt their platforms to a hostile leader before voting if possible. It is perhaps a bad take since I do feel Trump may sympathize Trudeau. But like I said. Right now, I hate them all.

  14. They may dump trudeau, but they will have to change direction on a lot of things ,carbon tax ,gun ban ,getting tough on crime ,immigration, and a whole lot more before they pull themselves out of the hole they are in .I wouldn’t vote liberal because of all the lies and corruption.

How foolish. The liberal party is just playing into Trump’s hands just like the Democratic Party in the States. Eating their own.

All of these johnny come latelies are a real joke. They think that by distancing themselves from the trudeau now that they can save their jobs and save face. Well too little to late! They could have done something a long time ago. They could have voted against the party in any of the past confidence votes….. but did they????? NOPE!

The trudeau problem, with the support of the entire caucus has been ongoing for 9 years…… lest we forget the singh and the entire ndp party for their support of the trudeau. We could have had an election years ago if not for them. REMEMBER that come election day!!!!

  17. Fluid_Lingonberry467 on

I still won’t vote for you muppets
    Too little too late
    Fuck off

  18. They deserve to all go down with him after supporting his bullshit this long.

  19. Hopefully this will be the end of the Liberals and also NDP. Their leaders drove the party to the ground.
