      And despite all this he’s going to ignore everything and continue on

      I’m not even sure if cabinet ministers resigning is going to be enough if he can just assign every ministry to LeBlanc who essentially becomes a one man cabinet

      I think we’ve gone from a point where Liberal MPs want him to resign to help their chances individual of winning to no one in the LPC wanting to be the sacrificial lamb whenever the next election comes.

      Who cares enough about the party, Canada and is old enough to have their pension and be ok returning to private life to take over for five months and have the most humiliating election landslide against them since Campbell if not ever?

      From most LPC MPs it matters, but keep in mind that Jenica is really just a GPC MP that was accepted into the LPC for an extra seat. She doesn’t have real party backing and never will.

      MPs that won narrowly in 2021 are insentivised to do this. She needs to make it to the next scheduled election for a pention. An early election loses her thay opportunity since she’s been an MP since 2019.

      Also, on a sillier note, part of me thinks Trudeau wants to stay PM until after the winter break, so it doesn’t ruin his Christmas/birthday.

      It won’t matter whether she runs or not, because she has 0% chance to win re-election. She barely won in 2021 when LPC support was 50% higher.
