It is simply great to see that a multi-confessional state based on Islam is emerging in Syria! From the perspective of an atheist in Christian Europe – they have my full confidence

They haven’t done it yet so I’ll take their word for it. For the time being it seems like the rebel leadership is taking a pragmatic approach to Israel with the understanding that they need American and Turkish support to survive. Firing rockets into Israel would undermine that overnight.

Let’s see if the center can hold or if the radicals begin to cause issues.

However I do not trust the Israeli government to not provoke them.

I think the new leaders of Syria will be too busy transforming the country from dictatorship to Sharia law based theocracy and the last thing they want is to pick fight with Israel (for now).

Rebel leader has put on his sheep’s clothing, because he knows he doesn’t stand a chance against Israel.

Assad regime didn’t attack Israel since October war.

Why would new government do that? They have country to rebuild.
