My accompanying text was deleted but I was saying that this feel dystopian, sort of “buy your free time from us, the giant corporation” and that given the state of health insurance in the country I felt like I should be pissed. Still not opening CSS website…

Instead of gifting perfumes and pullovers gift some of your time. To listen to someone or relieve someone who is stressed.

    What’s wrong with this?

Honestly it seems like a pretty clever way to encourage people to volunteer to help the elderly, so that they can then cash that time in when they need it later in life.

No, you create such a voucher on their platform and give it to a friend. I think that’s all.

I do believe their idea is that you can create a voucher on their website and then gift it to someone.

Personally, I find this – along many other out-of-home ads absolutely ridiculous. Take a walk around HB and actually look at the ads. Completely different world these advertisers live in. Let’s create a sub for most ridiculous OOH Media in CH xD

  6. They figured out how to account the time that you live. You can gift someone some of your time (e.g. a day), which they now live longer. You , on the other hand, die a day sooner. (Plus, of course, a few hours extra, which go to the big company for this transaction).

Holly quite dystopian if you have to be reminded to spend time with your loved ones… it says a lot about how grindy our society has become to have to be reminded to do things like this…

  8. What a clever way for them to collect data on people that have a stressful high-paying job and are dumb enough to fall for such advertising. Whoever does this self-selects themselves to become their next client.

They just put together a website where you can “design” vouchers for your friends and family. it’s the same thing kids do, like “1 time doing the dishes”. they do not make a profit or trying to sell anything here. will anyone actually make such a coupon? probably not. is it a bad ad? maybe. is it morally bad? no…
besides that css is probably one of the better Health insurances in terms of greediness. we’re not in the US…

It’s a nice idea to gift someone your time. But handing over some voucher of an insurance company would be cringe af

I just asked a question guys chill out with the downvotes and mean comments…
Btw even if the initiative is not nefarious it is still stupid and completely detached from the reality of the “grind” to which most of us are subjected:
“Gift your time to your loved ones, as in your everyday life you just can’t make time for them due to the completely fucked work-life balance we have in this world”
    Jesus Christ…
