Ich denke, dass sich die Leute aufgrund der aktuellen Zeit zu sehr darauf konzentrieren, alles in „wach“/nicht „wach“ zu kategorisieren, was sich leider negativ auf die Rezeption solcher Werke auswirkt.

People categorize it usually only when the woke content is put there blatantly and its really put together with ducttape.
Say- Horizon: Forbidden West vs Baldur’s Gate 3. Both could be described as “woke” cause you have specific themes here and there. But BG3 isn’t usually considered woke, even when you are having a threesome with a bear man and same-sex romance scenes.
Why?
Cause in Horizon there are eg. NPCs whose sole purpose is to put woke agenda and acknowledge such thing exists. Male wearing female armour and being proud of it so he has to say it to you. Aloy’s quasi-clever notes and thoughts, basically any male reduced to a dumb savage bellend except Sylens.

If a game reeks of it, then it’ll be called wokeshit. If even the woke content or additions are nicely woven into the game itself, no one will bat an eye.

I think there is too much riding on this release for it to be bad. First, they elected to work with the Unreal Engine over their own engine. I also read that the preview was pre-rendered on yet-to-be announced hardware, etc. If the game is a success, it will also be a big selling point for all these other parties involved.

Besides, Ciri feels like a natural successor to Geralt. As a normie player who works too much overtime and just needs to relax, I didn’t even hear about the woke outrage until people here started to complain about people complaining about it being woke. So, how many people will actually hear or care about it by the time the game releases, and how many people will just go: “oh, the new Witcher game! Let me buy that.”
