      That settles it, I’m moving to Hawaii to be with my peers.

      Nice map. Very interesting.

      Race + Immigration + Age, of course. A few generations of good nutrition usually increases average height considerably.

      Florida -> Hispanics, plus old white men, who are shorter because they were shorter before and have shrunk.
      Hawaii -> Asian
      California -> Asian + Indian + immigration
      and so on.

      At 183 in FL, this tracks most places. Where it DOESN’T track however, is in the more uppity places downtown.

      Latino, Asians, and Indians. Trump’s new slogan, MATA! Make America Tall Again!

      Sorry I couldn’t help myself .. lol

      I’m a shortish Hispanic guy in california. I couldn’t believe how small people were in Florida when i did an extended stay. even the white people were short. must be that year round heat.

      As a 5’8 trans guy, the “tall lady to short king” transition is so real lol

      Wait 179 is tall. Damn I’m 182 and considerd average and shortest male in my fam

    8. You can tell it’s a fake map… It uses centimeters instead of body parts to measure distance in Murica

      I’ll make it easy for y’all:

      175.26 cm (5’9) – 179.32 cm (5’10 1/2)

      I guess this is more dietary related, as other states with high European descent aren’t in the top.

      As someone who moved from California to Utah. I’m very short here

      Tall Scandinavian-Americans vs tall Afro-Americans and cute tiny Lationos in the middle

      I was born in California and live in Utah, no wonder everyone calls me “buddy”

      Being latino in the US sucks sometimes lol. Avg height in my country in 5’7 for guys so i don’t stick out as much. Also living in miami height diff was less noticeable, but now that i live in colorado it feels like every non hispanic is giant

      Curious…why this particular measurement range? The available data is much wider; this is only 5’8″ – 5’10”.
