Considering that the accusation is that it hurt him, this seems at least mildly credible. It’s a politician playing politics though, so who knows.
Neither the CBC reporting or statements from the sources say it changed the outcome.
The problem is that the allegations are the conservative party was under direct foreign interference and covered it up, instead of reporting it and letting everyone know.
