National security adviser Jake Sullivan told ABC News on Sunday morning that the Biden administration is not considering returning nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

With only seven weeks until President Joe Biden leaves office, his administration has been working to get more weapons to Ukraine and forgive billions in loans given to the war-torn country as it prepares for its third winter of war with Russia.

Stop posting Kremlin talking points! This is Putin’s idea, it’s not from the West or Ukraine. It’s not a thing.

Every country bordering Russia should, must be armed with enough nuclear weapons to protect themselves from the constant Russian invasion threat.

Such update is redundant and can send dangerous signals to Russia while the war rages on. It reminds me of the US’s announcement at the beginning of this war in 2022 that the US has no plans to provide troops for the war.

I think Ukrainians need to drop American politics and realize the fact that even though as this article says, the US is allied with Ukraine, it really does not seem like America is actually helping Ukraine to win, but just to drag it on indefinitely, whilst being overly sensitive to Russia’s threat regarding the so-called “escalation”. Remember, with each day Ukraine is suffering tremendous losses (and don’t compare to russia, they’re the attacking side, they have much larger population, most didn’t happen within Russian soil (until Kursk), and I don’t give a damn about Russia’s losses since they have the full choice on all this.).

I can’t think of a better explanation for all the limitations in how Ukraine uses the weapons provided to them aside from dragging. I mean, if the announcement is not equal to the true rules and is merely strategic to confuse Russia, then I’d understand, but apparently it seems sadly totally legit…

Didn’t read but I am willing to bet the farm that there is a big “Fuck No” in there! More encouraging NK, Iran, and all the other bad actors!

Guys give up your Nukes, and we promise to take care of you … like we did Ukraine!

This is almost laughable. They won’t give Ukraine tomahawks, modern fighter jets or the latest weapons. They won’t get nuclear weapons.

    7. Why is anyone talking as if this is a possibility. Can news have some responsibility.

    8. Biden also said :

He would not drop out of the race for president
He will not parson his son

He says he won’t do many things but then he does

One of the US’ top foreign policy missions for decades, I mean, literally as soon as Russia got their bomb, what, 70 years ago? Has been nuclear non-proliferation. The US does not want anyone to have nuclear weapons but them. The last thing they’re going to do is give another country nuclear weapons, especially a country in Ukraine‘a position.

We want to be the only ones in the world with a finger on the trigger.

I believe Biden’s exact answer was “I may be old but I’m not demented”
