apparently, “white progressives” need to go find and live in that other country that they think IS the greatest country in the world.
*taps screen* That’s why it happened. Study up.
I’m definitely in the minority for my demographic.
I would love to see this asking “America is more of a good country than bad country”
If it’s already the greatest country in the world why do we need to bother making it great again?
Why are Asian people never in the charts?
Why did they include white progressives/conservatives but didn’t differentiate black or hispanic conservatives/progressives
White liberals are the dumbest people on earth.
White progressives have no real goals or stakes, just loud voices and half baked opinions. Thanks guys!
I mean, my first response would be “what do you mean by great”.
Clearly, not enough of the participants watched the opening scene of the newsroom.
I feel like this tells us why Trump won the election..
It is data but not exactly beautiful.

Immediately thought of [this clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML3qYHWRIZk) (Jeff Daniels’ The Newsroom speech).
You will be labeled “progressive” just because you answer no.
I don’t trust this kind of bullshit meant to marginalise certain races.
Would like to see it broken down into whether or not people have actually been to another country in the world…
It would be amusing to see follow questions where the respondents define the attributes that go into this nebulous “greatness”
Why are whites spit into two groups?
Would love to see the same graph with ‘Hispanic conservatives’, Hispanic progressives’, ‘Black conservatives’, and ‘Black progressives’.
No one who has ever watched international news, or traveled outside the country (Mexican and Caribbean resorts don’t count) would ever say the US is the ‘best country’.
The best way to illustrate this:

Hispanic needs to be broken down more. We make it seem like it’s just one thing too often.
I kinda wonder what this chart would’ve looked like December 2020
I’m not even American and I’d say “well, obviously yes”. It’s 25% of the world economy with 4% of the population, and dominates the entire planet militarily, who else comes close? The US is so far ahead of its next competitor there isn’t really a historical comparison for it.
Saying yes doesn’t mean you think it’s a lovely place. Napoleon was undoubtedly great, was he nice and do I admire him? No.
It’s so weird that the groups voting to “make America great again” are the ones that think it’s the greatest already. Trump basically ran on how bad America has gotten…
Blind patriotism vs actual thought
