Hallo zusammen,

Its obvious that this is someone’s dog they either dumped or was a runaway and left its home, if you have it in your heart take it in with you and call some local animal society to have him taken away or help find its owner.

I would take the dog in and post on various Facebook pages – most of the times when a pet goes missing owners check pages on FB for any post / sightings.

‘Cyprus and Greece Cats and Dogs Posts for Help’
‘Lost & Found Pets of Cyprus’
    ‘Lost or Found animals Cyprus’

These are three pages I usually post to.

In a decent country I’d tell you to call the Police (or the “Animal Police”) but I’ve had a similar experience and they left the dog to die on the streets of Nicosia without showing the slightest care.

Apologies for the rant – this was one of my lowest days in Cyprus and it still makes me sad.

You could try giving a call to the veterinary service or ask some local animal rescue for guidance.

Thank you for helping him. Good luck…

Go to the next real estate agent and ask him if he recently sold a villa to some foreigners. Good chances they have no dogs yet. Now you just need to hook them up with the dog.

  5. I don’t think it’s lost. That dog is there now and then since a month or so. I live in that area. He is not there every day. Just now then. There’s a second dog sometimes too.

I think he blongs to the, on your first photo you have a house, across that house is a water vending machine with a house, then there’s a very white apartment building, then it’s the house behind that apartment building.

I also have no clue why they let it run out on it’s own there because there isn’t much traffic but there’s traffic and even the airport bus.
