It just works so well
Where are these sales numbers coming from? New PS2’s haven’t been produced since when? Are these used consoles? How’s that even being tracked?
It was a cheap DVD player for the non-gamer at the time.
Still playing mine 2-3 times per week
I still have my PS2 from launch day. First game was Tekken Tag Tournament. I also got the DVD remote day one. And it was my first DVD player.
The PS2 was dope af.
Makes sense, the mods that are available make it amazing.
I loved the PS2 (my favourite console of all time probably) but let’s face it, it would’ve probably not been so sucessful if it wasn’t also a DVD (and CD) player. Many people bought it just for that feature because it was as expensive as a standalone DVD player back then PLUS could play games.
