      The initial agreement and then changing his mind makes Singh look like he didn’t even read the original proposal.

      Personally, if I was Singh, I would argue that the amounts of disability benefit, GST/HST benefit and the various Seniors benefits, the veterans benefits should be permanently increased instead of arguing that this one-time Working Canadians benefit should be expanded to these groups of people.

      Tbh I’d rather not have this GST holiday and the government just spend it on stuff that matters- like housing

      With the tariff stuff happening I imagine a lot of corporate and generally oligarchic interests are tapping the PM on the shoulder and telling him this is as good a time as any to call the election and be done with it all anyway. Take Singh down in the process as consolation.
